Cushion is the gap between now and the line. The worked NVIDIA line is $104.17 against a live price of $182.15. That cushion is 43%. When the cushion is thin, repay or add stock. The app can say: Your cushion is getting thin. NVIDIA is 9% above your line. Repay or add stock to move it. Only some of the stock is sold, not all of it, unless a tiny remainder is left. The auction starts near a zero discount and climbs to a cap for that stock: 5%, 6%, or 8% by tier. The window is two hours. A cut of that discount goes to the reserve. See Fees. Weekend sales use Friday’s close minus a 2% cut, not a Saturday price. If your cushion drops under 10%, Stockline can repay part of the loan from your Cash. You stay in control of when to sell. Auto-protect is off by default. It uses a scoped session key. You can turn it off any time. Notifications, if you opt in at first loan: cushion thin, earnings added, market closed or reopened if a loan exists, some stock was sold. Each has one action. Never marketing.
