# Earn

> Your dollars, working.

Deposit dollars, any dollars. They earn while they are lent to people who borrowed against stocks.

Rate today is [6.81%](/concepts/interest-rates).

One card. Dollars growing on screen. Rate today. How much of the pool is lent out. Reserve. Move to Cash available now.

Borrowers pay interest. A [15%](/resources/parameters) slice of that interest goes to the reserve first. The rest goes to Earning. See [Reserve and fees](/concepts/reserve-and-fees).

Lending has not opened yet on launch books. Your dollars earn yield from STK trading fees until it does. That sentence is the Earning card until a book flips on. Rate today still means today. It is not a forecast.

Moving back to Cash is instant when the pool has unused dollars. Paid. Every day.

Each day, Cash above your floor can move to Earning if you turn that on. Cash moves back when a buy or repay needs it. Keep this much in Cash is the floor control.
